On May 28th, the “Discover Huadu” partner day organized by Guangzhou GHM Greater Bay Area Economic & Cultural Promotion Association was successfully held, where more than 40 representatives of member enterprises of GHMGBPA went to Huadu to further deepen their understanding of the economic and social development of Huadu District through visits and exchanges of talks. Present at the event were leaders from Huadu District Party Committee, District Government, District Bureau of Science, Industry and Information Technology, District Bureau of Commerce, District Economic Development Zone, Huadu Branch of Guangzhou Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources, and District Federations of Industry and Commerce.

“Display the new look” - an organized visit to the central axis of Huadu District

Enterprise representatives were organized to visit Guangdong Oriental Yuhong Building Materials Co., Ltd, Yunling Digital Park and Huade Senior High School; there they got a close understanding of Oriental Yuhong's automated production line, and experienced the development results of Yunling Digital Park in green and new intelligent park and of Huade Senior High School in education and teaching. Their visit also extended to the central axis of Huadu District, Kongtie Avenue, Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital, Guoguang Industrial Park, Guangya Huadu Campus, and Jiesai Science and Technology Park.

The carefully planned visit route ran from manufacturing enterprises, senior high schools to green financial street and industrial parks, covering the key industries in the District, which offered the representatives of enterprises outside the District an opportunity to have comprehensive knowledge of Huadu's superior business environment, unique location and transportation advantages, and new development of the integrated development of industry and city. Meanwhile, the visit had an important role in promoting in-depth exchanges and resource cooperation among enterprises.

“Talk about development” - a seminar for enterprises to exchange views

At the seminar, the enterprise representatives watched a promotional video of Huadu District, and listened to an introduction given by a responsible official of the District Economic Development Zone about the conditions and the business and investment environment of Huadu District, in which the message was conveyed that Huadu District was a place for investment and development.

And the enterprise representatives spoke in turn, introducing the development of their respective enterprise and expressing their appreciation of the investment and development environment of Huadu District. Mr. Chen Zhenxiong, Chairperson of Guangdong Hyberfy Group, said, “Since the company's establishment, we have had deep experience with the ‘three speeds’ of Huadu's business environment. In the future, our company will closely follow the demand of industrial upgrading in the Greater Bay Area to build smart parks and cultivate a new development ecology for digital intelligence talents.“. Mr. Lei Aixin, Chairperson of Guangzhou ACT Industrial Co., Ltd. said, “During the field visit I am deeply impressed by Huadu's concept of integrated development of industry and city; and our company is looking forward to in-depth cooperation with Huadu District in such areas as building sports complexes and creating smart health communities.”

The seminar also witnessed exchange of opinions and suggestions on enterprise development and business environment. This event laid a good foundation for building a government-enterprise communication platform for cross-district enterprise cooperation and for promoting efficient consultation between government and enterprises.

“Boost confidence” - cooperation between the city and the District to encourage the morale of private enterprises

Leaders from relevant departments of the city and the District attended the seminar and had in-depth exchanges with enterprise representatives.

Former relevant leaders of Guangzhou federations of industry and commerce highly affirmed the broad development prospects of Huadu District, and said that the member enterprises of the Guangzhou GHM Greater Bay Area Economic & Cultural Promotion Association were enormous in size as a whole and displayed strong growth momentum. In the future, the Association would continue to lead the enterprises to “go out”, and help more enterprises in Huadu realize high-quality development by providing regular dialog platforms, creating pro-clean and inclusive development ecology, and promoting precise docking between policy formulation and enterprise demands. And it was expected that entrepreneurs would increase their investment, give full play to their own advantages, introduce more partners, and continue to be good “ambassadors”, “liaisons” and “service providers” for investment attraction of Guangzhou.

Leaders of Huadu District said that Huadu would insist on leading with intelligence, empowering with reforms, and commitment to practical work, and take “three major projects”, “three major reforms” and “three major transformations” as the levers for building a modernized industrial system of “12635” with the characteristics of Huadu. The next step of Huadu District Party Committee and government would be to endeavor to make Huadu a strategic pivot of the Great Bay Area that connects global resources and radiates the inland region, and provide more practical convenience for entrepreneurs to invest and settle in Huadu.
